Welcome to Myrtle Cottage. Come and unwind in our charming village home away from home, lovingly refurbished to provide the perfect blend of modern comforts and country charm. This small but perfectly formed hideaway sleeps five and offers an ideal base from which to explore the stunning Dorset countryside and the Jurassic Coast.
The interior is decorated with an eclectic mix of old and new, with the owners using their flare for antiques and art in each room. The cottage is just a few steps from the brilliant village shop and post office, and several excellent places to eat. On arrival a generous welcome pack to get you started will be waiting for you.

Ground Floor
Sitting room: The large open plan living space has a comfy sofa and armchairs, smart TV/Sky, electric fire, games and a reading/study nook with desk and chair and well-stocked bookshelves.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with an electric range oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, ironing board. French doors to the pretty courtyard garden.
Dining area: Dining table and six chairs.

First Floor
On the first floor there are three comfortable bedrooms, one with ensuite shower room, and a separate family shower room.
Bedroom one: King-size bed, en-suite shower room with walk-in shower enclosure, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Bedroom two: 3′ single bed.
Bedroom three: Double bed.
Family shower room: Large walk-in shower enclosure, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

Outside
To the rear of the cottage is a sheltered courtyard garden with a large teak dining table , bench, chairs and cushions (stored under the stairs), the ideal spot for al fresco dining, and a secure place for young children and pets, or for storing your bikes and water sports equipment.
Unrestricted parking is available at the front of the cottage, and also all along the roadside in this quiet village street.

Additional Information
Children and infants are welcome. A travel cot and highchair are available on request (please bring your own cot linen).
Up to two small well behaved dogs are welcome, for a small additional charge.
WiFi is available for recreational purposes only. The speed/service may vary from time to time.
